The world’s largest Stop Frame animation

Shot on a Nokia N8, ‘Gulp’ tells the story of a fisherman who becomes supper himself one day. Brought to us by Aardman studios, the directors responsible for Gulp had recently produced the world’s smallest stop-frame animation…incorporating sand sculptures; a windswept seaside and a fisherman in yellow galoshes it feels like this represents the best of British all round:

    and here’s a link to the film. What I think is really interesting, is the 12megapixel M8 phone. The ubiquitous ring tone satirized by Dom Joly in the 90′s Nokia have been losing market share to first the i-phone and then Android based smart phones… Just last week the business papers were singing the woes of the firm..And now this…Is the space race heating up again… or have they just entered the Camera Market.. this is one to watch…
