Interesting to note that in Marilyn Monroe’s last film appearance (the unfinished ‘Somethings Got to Give) she decided she wanted “push Liz Taylor off the magazine covers’ and proceeded to strip off for the now infamous pool scene . It would have been the first time a major star appeared without a body stocking in a ‘Hollywood’ film.
In these days of gratuitous displays of T&A and the outright bombardment of images of both male and female forms this seems almost quaint, but it would have been an notorious scandal in it’s day.
